■ What they show
Videos posted by attendees showed CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer drinking wine and dancing at CNN's after-party following its coverage of Hillary Clinton's 2016 convention speech. The Drudge Report headlined it 'CNN CELEBRATES HILLARY: BLITZER TOASTS SPEECH, DANCING, PARTY!' Mediaite and Business Insider reported the episode and CNN's response.
■ The other side
CNN called the suggestion that staff were celebrating Clinton 'absurd', saying the gathering was a staff wind-down after two weeks of convention coverage and that guests from both parties attended.
